Testimonials
Craig Thibodeau
“I’ve worked with Jaime at Aulson Inlay on several projects over the years and each time it has been a pleasure, the team at Aulson has consistently delivered highly accurate inlays that I would have a hard time reproducing on my own. Their work is extremely precise and they’ve regularly gone the extra mile to ensure the finished inlay was exactly what I wanted. I can’t recommend them highly enough and I’m happy to have their work on my furniture.”

“Working with Aulson Inlay is the best kind of collaboration. I can send Aulson Inlay my ideas via email, or share an album of visual ideas, and they are able to take my input and create inlay designs even better than my imagined vision, and the craftsmanship is absolutely impeccable. Each member of the team is friendly, organized, and skilled, and just so easy to work with. It’s truly a family business in the best way. I wouldn’t hesitate to give them my highest recommendation! Even better, my customers love the inlay jewelry pieces as well!”

“I consider it a privilege that we have Jaime Aulson and the entire staff of Aulson Inlay to help design and execute our inlay work. They have a great team of designers and their execution is without peer. Doug Aulson is a genius at mini CNC equipment. I am always amazed, even on the smallest pieces of shell, that I cannot detect any filler around the inlay. Excellence is an understatement!!”

“Aulson Inlay has been instrumental in getting our company up and running. They are extremely easy to work with, knowledgeable, and willing to tackle what hasn’t been done before. We owe much of our success to them.”

“I bring all of my complex inlay work to Aulson Inlay. The first job I ever brought to Aulson was a memorial guitar I was building to be raffled at a breast cancer charity event. I had a vague idea of what I wanted – something to do with a pink ribbon on the fretboard. Jaime suggested standard-sized fret markers (1/4″ diameter!) in Mother of Pearl with pink ribbons inlayed. If I remember right, each fret marker would require eight tiny pieces of inlay. I couldn’t believe the results – perfect tiny pink ribbons in each fret marker. Tasteful and understated, it was a level of precision that I could never have achieved by hand. From that moment I was sold – these were the folks I wanted to produce my headstock logos and all of my complicated inlays.”

“Everyone at Aulson Inlay is so friendly and wonderful to work with. They support big high-end guitar companies like PRS and Martin as well as small boutique luthiers that build only a handful of instruments in a year. I feel so fortunate to have them virtually in my backyard, and I look forward to working with them for many years to come.”
